Coming from a marketing background would make it much easier for me to always keep business objectives in mind while designing for the user. Also, My knowledge of research techniques gives me the most advantage as I switch to a career in UX design. My diverse work background helps me become a better product designer who can understand user demands through market research and product operation data.
